The educational careers of 21 graduating seniors will be celebrated this weekend when students from the Wauneta-Palisade Class of 2011 receive their high school diplomas. This year’s graduation ceremony will be held at the Wauneta gymnasium at 10 a.m. MT/11 a.m. CT.
2004 Wau-Pal graduate Aaron Keiser will deliver this year’s commencement speech. Keiser, who currently works in the Admissions Office at Colby Community College in Kansas, was chosen to speak after leaving a good impression on this year’s graduating class during a recent visit to the high school. Also scheduled to deliver speeches on Saturday is the pair of 2011 WP valedictorians, Chris Bartels and Breann Maris. Senior Class President Colby Skelton will give the welcome.
