The Wauneta-Palisade Frenchman Valley NHS Chapter held their annual Valentine’s Day flower and balloon sale, the NHS members sold roses, balloons, and carnations from January 31, through February 10. Students, parents, and faculty could purchase a flower or balloon for whomever they please, and they could send it as a secret admirer or from themselves.
This is the National Honors Society’s main fundraiser. This helps to pay for the Senior Supper at the Blue Colonial Inn, later this semester. The senior’s and their sponsor Mrs. Spickelmier are treated to a five course meal as they practice their table manners at the Blue Colonial. The funds, also, go towards the new member induction ceremony that takes place during the fall.
