The Wauneta-Palisade junior high boys and girls basketball teams each closed out their season by earning third place medals at last Saturday’s home basketball tournament.
The junior high Bronco boys team bounced back from a first round loss against Wallace, 33-19, to win a nail-biter over Sutherland 32-31. The boys games were held at the Palisade gymnasium.
