Three Bronco volleyball standouts were named to the RPAC All-Conference Team in the West Division this week.

For seniors Bethany Riener and Shelby Hamilton, it was their second selection in as many years. Joining them is teammate and fellow senior Jenae Bischoff.

Riener led the Broncos in total points this season with 161, making her a lock for the setter/hitter position on the RPAC list’s second team. Her 262 set assists paced the team, as well as her 48 ace serves. Riener was strong at the net, too, throwing down 81 kills and 15 blocks.

Hamilton, named as libero on this year’s second team, had a strong season as Wau-Pal’s defensive leader. Hamilton led the team racking up 266 digs, despite missing the final three games of the season. The senior’s 350 serve receives set the pace for the Broncos offense. Chipping in 19 ace serves and 13 kills helped establish Hamilton as more than a back row stopper.

Bischoff, named as an outside hitter on this year’s honorable mention list, took great strides in her senior season. She had the fourth most points on the team with 92, and averaged 2.92 kills per contest. Her 35 ace serves was second on the team.
