|Large crowd on hand for Wauneta’s Santa Saturday drawings|

A standing-room-only crowd packed into the Chateau Theatre after frigid temperatures Saturday afternoon led Wauneta Chamber organizers to move Santa Saturday festivities indoors.
A number of fantastic prizes were awarded to some of the lucky ones on hand as their names were drawn.
This year’s top three prizes — a computer system with all the goodies, a 19” LCD TV and a 52 week pass to the Chateau Theatre — were all donated by BWTelcom.
Nidia Ramirez won the LG television, Noreen Christner won the Corsair computer system and Randee Littrel won the 52 week movie pass.
Other Santa Saturday prizes winners included:
Sandy O’Neil, $100 in Chamber Bucks donated by the Chase County Community Hospital Wauneta Clinic.
Kent Buffington, $50 in Chamber Bucks donated by Sinner’s Paint and Body.
Carl Schumacher, two-way radio set donated by Southwest Public Power District.
Viola Krausnick, winner of a $25 gift certificate to Tommy’s Sports Club.
Deb Andrew and Dr. Gene Rider, winners of $25 gift certificates donated by Walgren’s Super Market.
James Crabb, Sheryl Einspahr, Robin Brown and Connie Littrel, winners of $20 in Chamber Bucks donated by the Wauneta Chamber.
Judi Nordhausen, winner of a $20 gift certificate to the Hair Chateau.
Aneta Engel, winner of a holiday meat sampler, donated by HomeTown Agency.
Donna Gockley, Cindy Ward, Alan Schreiner and David Wenske, winners of turkeys donated by Doetker Grinding.
Darlene Haarberg and Amy Lovell, winners of Bronco bag blankets donated by Susie’s Creative Stitches.
