Residents of Sunrise Heights of Wauneta ventured around town on Monday, Dec. 22 to view all of the wonderful Christmas light displays available around Wauneta. The feat was completed in one trip, thanks to Dallis Breese taking residents around town on the handibus. After their tour, residents had a hard time deciding winners of the contest due to the many beautiful lights in Wauneta. Gifts for the United Methodist Churches of Wauneta and Palisade sponsored an Angel Tree for families in need for the fourth year. Gifts given to the “angels” were delivered to Valley Bank and Trust in Wauneta and Pioneer Community Federal Credit Union in Palisade.
