WP takes first in Vet Tech at State FFA Convention

  Strand and Towery place first and second By Diane Stamm The Wauneta Breeze   Wauneta-Palisade FFA brought home top honors in Vet Tech from last week’s 87th Nebraska State FFA Convention in Lincoln, held April 8-10. Seniors Nicole Strand and Lesley Towery led the way for WP, individually finishing first and second, respectively. Junior Ellie Lee also earned a purple ribbon  and junior Cameo Rector a red. As a team, WP blew out the other 34 teams, earning 397 points....
